A husband, a father and a Patriot…
Brian Helms is a lifelong conservative and resident of Union County. He is a Piedmont High School alum. Brian is a husband and a parent to two children, one of which is currently enrolled in UCPS. The other will begin kindergarten at UCPS next fall. Brian has openly advocated for not only his children, but for all of the children of Union County in his attendance and public comments to the Union County Board of Education, Union County Board of County Commissioners and the Union County Consolidated Human Services Board.
An Advocate and Not a Politician
We don’t need more politicians, we need people willing to fight for the best interest for every citizen of Union County. Our county needs Commissioners willing to roll up their sleeves and lead by example. If you elect me, that’s exactly what I will do.
Brian Helms has been employed by a local manufacturing company for 24 years. In addition to a strong background in project management, he manages a training program with nationwide reach. His responsibilities include developing budgets and assessing risk and ROI for company projects. Brian is truly and advocate for education at all levels and holds active Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM) and Corporate Trainer Certified (CTC) professional credentials and attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His passion for conservative values, education and our great county was partly inspired by his grandfather who taught Agriculture in the Union County School system for over twenty years.
Stand With Me
I believe in traditional conservative values, hard work and common sense policy. I believe in low taxes and limited government. I value family and the God given right of choice. That’s what I will fight for as your Commissioner.
